PERRYVILLE, MO (KDKZ-TV) Construction of the Perry County Memorial Hospital Emergency Department began on Thursday.

A temporary building is in place to treat patients adjacent to the previous Emergency Department.

All patients seeking emergency care should enter through the clearly marked patient entrance on the right side of the temporary building.  The temporary location has a walk-in patient entrance and an ADA accessible ramp entrance.

Additionally, patients visiting PCMH for outpatient services during the hours of 6am – 8pm will continue to enter through the main lobby doors and register at the daytime Admitting offices.   All outpatient services conducted between 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. will enter through the temporary ED facility to complete their registration.

Construction on the current ED is estimated to be completed in six months.
