PARK HILLS, MO (KDKZ-TV) The Missouri Jobs Center will be hosting a hiring event on Thursday.
Several area businesses will be on hand to interview and even hire those looking for work.
Alison Sheets says, “All of the employers, we have close to 50 now, do have an opening, they are actively hiring.” “So, we ask the community to come on out, and if you are just looking for part-time summer work, we have a list of retailers that are going to be there, or if you are wanting to make a connection for more of a full time career, we’ve got some big employers that are going to be there on Thursday.”
Mike Campbell, with the Missouri Jobs Center says that the job center is there to help.
“A lot of people need help with resume’s and getting things prepared,” he said. “We have a lot of different workshops, and everything we do is free of charge,” says Campbell.
The event takes place at the Mineral Area College Field house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Pre-registration is recommended. You can do so by visiting the Missouri Jobs Center in Park Hills.
