PARK HILLS, MO (KDKZ-TV) Authorities arrested a local business owner on drug charges.
46-year-old Brian Bales, of Terre Du Lac, was arrested Tuesday morning by the Mineral Area Drug Task Force. This stems from Bales being found with a large amount of methamphetamine. Search warrants were also issued for his home and business, Parkland Power Equipment.
He also has a class A felony charge for trafficking in the first degree, a class E felony of unlawful use of a weapon, and failure to drive in a single lane from November.
Authorities say that in November, he was arrested with about one and a half pounds of meth. On Tuesday, he was found with around a pound.
He has been charged with a class A felony of trafficking drugs in the first degree, a class D felony of unlawful possession of a firearm, and a class E felony of unlawful use of a weapon.
He is currently in the St. Francois County Jail on a $250,000 cash or surety bond.
