ST. LOUIS, MO (KDKZ-TV) A St. Louis Radio personality is without a job after tweeting a derogatory comment about David Hogg for his involvement in the anti-gun protests.

Political Commentator, Jamie Allman, resigned as host of KDNL-TV’s ‘ The Allman Report’ on Monday.  The show was then cancelled immediately.

A number of sponsors pulled their advertising from the show because of the tweet.

Allman was absent from his show on KFTK-FM in St. Louis on Tuesday.  Former Missouri House Speaker Tim Jones was named as a temporary host of Allman’s morning radio show, “Allman in the Morning”.  This was so the station could investigate the matter.  However, by Tuesday evening the station had ‘parted ways’ with Allman effective immediately.

97.1 FM Talk immediately replaced Allman’s show with ’97.1 Mornings’.

Allman resigning from KDNL-TV has left the station with no news department for the time being.  No word on what the station or their parent company, Sinclair Broadcast Group, will do for news content.
