St. Louis Man Drowns at Elephant Rocks

IRON CO., MO (KDKZ-TV) Authorities say a St. Louis man drowned Tuesday afternoon at Elephant Rocks State Park.

24-year-old Rashad Moungo reportedly went into the water to assist a friend when he was swept away.

Several emergency crews responded to the scene shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday when the call first went out.  A few hours later, Moungo’s body was recovered by the Missouri State Highway Patrol Marine Division.
