(KDKZ-TV) How hot was it last month?

If you thought it was pretty hot in May you weren’t just imagining it.

Meteorologist Brad Ripey says that temperatures in May were record setting.

“It was incredibly warm,” he says. “It looks like it’s probably going to be the warmest May on record for the lower 48 states,” says Ripey.

Ripey says that despite the heat, we aren’t seeing drought conditions because of rainfall throughout the month of May.  June looks to be the same.
