Dylan Coleman Drafted By San Diego Padres in 2018 MLB Draft

POTOSI, MO (KDKZ-TV) Former 2015 Potosi High School graduate and Missouri State University standout Right Handed Pitcher Dylan Coleman concluded his 2018 Baseball season receiving the call that every baseball player dreams of….. the call that he had been drafted by a Major League Baseball team.

On June 5th Coleman was selected by the San Diego Padres with the 7th pick in the 4th round (111th overall) in the MLB 2018 draft. The 4th year Junior for the Missouri State Bears concluded his 2018 campain finishing with 10 wins, 102.2 innings pitched, and 129 strikeouts. Coleman was awarded 1st team All Midwest Regions honors for the 2018 season.

Coleman will begin his pro career with the Padres Single-A affiliate the Tri-City Dust Devils in Pasco, WA. Congratulations and good luck Dylan!
