FARMINGTON, MO (KDKZ-TV) at approximately 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, a construction crew working on E. Harrison Street cut a gas line and a fiber-optic line rendering the Farmington Police Department’s 573-756-6686 phone line inoperable.

If a resident needs to contact the police department to report an accident, crime, or speak to someone in administration, they will need to call central dispatch at 431-3131.

This issue does not affect 911 emergency calls for service.  At this time the department does not have an estimated time the phone lines will be restored.
