Annual Big River Chautauqua Takes Place this Week

BONNE TERRE, MO (KDKZ-TV)The annual Big River Chautauqua takes place this week, behind the Bonne Terre City Hall, starting on Thursday.

This year’s theme is ‘A Night of Laughter, Gossip & Magic Entertaining America’.  This year’s characters include Minnie Pearl, Hedda Hopper, Louella Parsons, and Houdini.

The event takes place on July 19, 20, and 21.

Food will be served at 5:30 p.m. each night, entertainment starts at 6 p.m., and the program begins at 7:30 p.m.

The event is free, however there is a cost for the food.
