Glowing Pickle

(KDKZ-TV) Did you know the pickle you might eat for a snack or for that matter as part of your meal glows?

All you’ve got to do is send 120 volts of electricity through the pickle.

Here’s the science behind the experiment.  Pickles are created by soaking a cucumber in a solution high in salt, which allows the pickle to conduct electricity.  In other words, electricity will flow easily through the pickle, because there is a low of salt in it.
