Hillsboro JH Students Evacuated Due to Threat

HILLSBORO, MO (KDKZ-TV) Students in the Hillsboro Junior High have been evacuated due to a potential threat.

School officials were alerted to a message found in the boys restroom saying, “I’m going to blow this school up.”

Students and staff were evacuated to the elementary schools playground and are safe.  District officials also say that an “All Call” message has been sent to parents.

Authorities are on the scene with bomb sniffing dogs to search the area.

The district says that students that were evacuated are being fed lunch at the Intermediate School.
