PERRYVILLE, MO (KDKZ-TV) On Tuesday, September 18, 2018 officers of the Perryville Police Department served a drug related search warrant in the 600 block of N. Main St.

During the search, officers encountered a male and female subject inside the residence; both were taken into custody after a search of the residence resulted in officers locating methamphetamine packaged to sell.  Drug paraphernalia was also located within the residence. The female was identified as 50-year-old Paula M. Beam and the male as 53-year-old John P. Hager.

While officers were searching the residence, a third party approached the residence advising officers he was there to see his brother.  He was identified as 57-year-old Keith Hager and when asked if he had anything illegal in his possession, Hager advised he had a smoking pipe for marijuana.  He was taken into custody as well, booked and released on city charges for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Upon processing Beam, it was discovered she had concealed a baggie of methamphetamine on her person within the jail facility.  Beam was charged with that as well.
