FARMINGTON, MO (KDKZ-TV) Emergency crews were on the scene at Farmington Middle School Tuesday afternoon at around 2 p.m. for what sounded like an explosion.

An AC line failure is to blame for the loud noise.

Students and staff were evacuated until crews could assess the situation.  Students were able to go back inside a short time later.  Parents also picked their children up during this time as well.

No one was injured.
