(Farmington, MO) Several Roads getting work on Mark Twain National Forest land. (Salem) Contract crews that work on U.S. Forest Service roads within the Mark Twain National Forest have been busy of late and will continue to be busy. Improvements are coming to Howell Lake Access Road in Washington County or Forest Road 2919, located between Pigeon Roost Road and Z highway. Work has also been happening in Iron county on Crane Lake Dam Access Road or Forest Road 2113. Aggregate placement will take place in Washington and Iron counties on Forest Roads 2514 and 2514-B or the Timberline Lake Roads, Palmer Lake Roads or Forest Service Roads 2662 and 2662-B, Hazel Creek Campground Road or 2392, and the Enough Boat Access Road or Forest Service Road 2768, leading to Council Bluff Lake.
